The new Collective Agreement for the Commercial Sector, which takes effect in February, will introduce several changes. The ability to make local agreements has been added to the collective agreement. In addition, new provisions have been incorporated into the agreement on shop stewards with the aim of supporting and promoting a culture of local agreements in the commercial sector.
The new annual leave system will take effect for the entire commercial sector on 1 January 2017. It constitutes a permanent structural change to the collective agreement. The annual leave system applies to all employees falling within the scope of application of collective agreements.
In 2016, pay increases in the commercial sector will become effective at the start of March. Monthly wages will increase by EUR 15 and hourly wages by 9 or 10 cents. Detailed pay increase instructions are enclosed.

This year, the commercial sector’s pay increases will become effective in September. Personal wages and pay scale rates will increase by 0.4 per cent. In addition, increases will be applied to certain seniority levels and the personal wages of warehouse workers. Employees covered by the pay scale system can see the increased pay scale rates in the wage annex of the Collective Agreement.
