Negotiations of the collective agreements
Negotiating World
Welcome to the Negotiating World!
Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United PAM start the negotiations of the collective agreements in the trade sector on 12 January 2023. In the Negotiating World we provide background information on collective agreements and collective agreement negotiations. In addition, by following our conference log, you will receive up-to-date information on the progress of the negotiations. Our main principle is to negotiate privately with PAM, which means that a more comprehensive report on issues decided in the negotiations will be published after the negotiation parties have reached the result.
The aim of Finnish Commerce Federation is to negotiate a modern and competitive collective agreement that takes into account the diverse playing field in the trade sector and gives the best possible support to the shops operating in Finland to prosper and employ. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the nature of commerce and strongly highlighted international competition as well as the rapidly growing needs of e-commerce and customers’ 24/7 buying behavior. Thus, it is vitable that the collective agreements meet the present needs of the collective agreements in order for trade to flourish in the future.
