Commercial sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations continued late last night
Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United PAM continued the collective bargaining agreement negotiations on Wednesday 29 January 2020. Negotiations continued late last night and parties were able to proceed in many issues. Also the negotiations for the collective agreement for retail supervisors achieved results.
However, there are still a lot of big issues left to negotiate.
Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United PAM have not yet agreed on a new meeting for now. Parties remain to wait for their boards’ further instructions.
The term of the collective bargaining agreement for the Commercial Sector ends this Friday 31 January 2020. After the validity of the collective agreement, the provisions of the old collective agreement will continue to be complied in the employment relationships. Thus, even though the term of the collective agreement ends, this does not cause any changes at workplaces or in the employment relationships.
