Negotiations’ result achieved in the commercial sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations

Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United have achieved negotiations’ result late on Tuesday, 1 February 2022.

Negotiations’ result needs to be approved in both parties administrations. The content of the negotiations will be announced later within a few days provided that the administrations give their approval. Both administrations gather tomorrow afternoon.

Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United have negotiated since 12 January in order to negotiate the new collective bargaining agreement for the commercial sector. The previous collective bargaining agreement ended on 31 January 2022.

The commercial sector employs approximately 270,000 people. The collective bargaining agreement in the commerce sector covers approximately 154,000 employees.
