Negotiations’ result achieved in the commercial sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations

Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United have achieved negotiations’ result on Friday 14 February 2020.

Negotiations’ result needs to be approved in both parties administrations. The content of the negotiations will be announced later today provided that the administrations give their approval. Administrations gather today afternoon.

Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United have negotiated since 9 January in order to negotiate the new collective bargaining agreement for the commercial sector. The previous collective bargaining agreement ended on 31 January 2020. The commercial sector employs approximately 300,000 people. The collective bargaining agreement in the commerce sector covers approximately 154,000 employees.
