Negotiations in the commerce sector
The Finnish Commerce Federation and the Service Union United PAM have today reached agreement in the collective agreement and wage negotiations concerning the commerce sector. The solution will be discussed next in the administrations of the unions.
The outcome of the negotiations was reached on Sunday evening, 12 February, in negotiations led by the National Conciliator Anu Sajavaara. If the outcome of the negotiations is approved later today by the administrations of both unions, the strikes in the commerce sector and the prohibitions on overtime, shift changes and temporary transfers will end immediately. Similarly, the withholding of employers’ membership fee recovery will end.
The outcome of the negotiations will be discussed in the administrations of both unions on Sunday evening. The Finnish Commerce Federation will inform you of the more detailed content of the negotiation result and the decision of the administrations of the unions as soon as possible.
The labour disputes in the commerce sector have been negotiated under the direction of the National Conciliator since Tuesday 24 January.
