The mediation of the commerce sector’s labor dispute did not yield results – store strikes will begin following the logistics strikes

The Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United PAM continued mediation in the commerce sector’s labor dispute today. Despite engaging in many constructive discussions on both sides, the National Conciliator did not see the conditions necessary to present a settlement proposal.

As previously announced, strikes affecting stores will begin tomorrow Wednesday, at 5:00 AM. The logistics strikes, which began yesterday, will continue until Thursday morning at 5:00 AM or until the end of a work shift that started before then.

Mediation in the retail labor dispute will continue on Friday 21 February 2025.
