Simo Hiilamo appointed Director, Public Policy and Advocacy at the Finnish Commerce Federation
Simo Hiilamo has been appointed Director, Public Policy and Advocacy at the Finnish Commerce Federation. He begins in this position today, 21 September 2020.
Simo Hiilamo (39) is responsible for coordinating industrial political lobbying at the Finnish Commerce Federation. In addition, his areas of responsibility include expertise and lobbying related in particular to specialty goods trade and payment instruments as well as cooperation relationships with specialty goods trade organisations that are key partners for the federation.
Before the Finnish Commerce Federation, Hiilamo worked for Eurofacts Oy, where he gained many years of experience in advocacy and lobbying. He has provided diverse consulting services to leading Finnish companies and organisations in advocacy and lobbying questions, both in commerce and in other sectors.
Hiilamo graduated as Master of Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki.
