National Conciliator could not give a settlement proposal in the commerce sector’s labour dispute – first strikes will begin on Thursday
Finnish Commerce Federation and Service Union United PAM’s labour dispute’s mediation continued today with the National Conciliator.
Finnish Commerce Federation had prepared its salary increase and text amendments’ proposals but unfortunately even with the help of several solution proposals, negotiations did hardly proceed.
Parties’ views are quite far from each other and thus, the National Conciliator could not give settlement proposal. Due to this, first strikes will start as of 9 February.
National Conciliator will contact labour dispute’s parties in order to discuss, when mediation could be continued.
