PAM announced new strikes in the retail sector – targeting technical trade and specialty trade companies

PAM announced on Friday 28 February 2025, that it is suspending negotiations in the retail sector.

Mediation continued on Monday morning without results. Following the mediation, PAM issued new strike notices targeting technical trade and specialty trade companies.

The two-day strikes will begin on Thursday 20 March 2025, at 5:00 AM and will end on Friday 21 March 2025, at 11:59 PM, or at the end of a work shift that began before 11:59 PM. The strikes will affect multiple technical trade and specialty trade companies and will apply to retail, logistics, and clerical employees. The strikes cover all work under the collective agreements in the retail sector at the designated companies, including work under the collective agreements for supervisors.

Mediation will continue tomorrow, Tuesday 4 March 2025.
