The pace quickens in the Commercial Sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations

Commerce Sector’s collective bargaining negotiations took place on Thursday, 27 January 2022, and the parties resumed negotiations on the following day, 28 January 2022. As there are still a lot of things on the table, the parties agreed to continue negotiations over the weekend as well. The next meeting was scheduled for Sunday, 30 January 2022. Negotiations for the Collective Agreement for retail supervisors will also continue on Sunday.

Negotiations are progressing in good spirit and many issues have been able to work on together. There are still issues to be resolved.

The Collective Agreement in the Commercial Sector expires on Monday 31 January 2022. The negotiation teams are prepared to negotiate until late at night on Monday if necessary. On Monday, the parties will meet at Eteläranta, at Finnish Commerce Federation’s premises.
