The collective agreement negotiations for the commerce sector were transferred to the National Conciliator

Today, collective bargaining negotiations for the commerce sector continued under the leadership of the National Conciliator.

On Friday 31 January 2025, PAM announced extensive industrial actions targeting the commerce sector. The first strikes are scheduled to begin on Monday 17 February 2025.

Due to the strike announcements, the negotiations will henceforth proceed under the guidance of the National Conciliator. Despite the strike threats, negotiations will continue within the so-called negotiation peace framework. Updates on the negotiation schedule and progress will be published in the Negotiation Log.

The parties will reconvene at the National Conciliator’s office tomorrow, Tuesday 4 February 2025.
