Commercial sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations on break – Service Union United PAM declared industrial actions
Service Union United PAM broke commercial sector’s collective bargaining agreement negotiations on Friday 31 January 2020.
On Monday 3 February, PAM declared overtime ban and work stoppage for the commerce sector. Work stoppage will be carried out as strikes and handling bans.
Overtime ban starts on Tuesday 4 January 2020 at 6 am and ens by a separate announcement or when the new Collective Agreement for the Commercial Sector is agreed.
Strikes will be carried out:
- From Tuesday 18 February 2020 at 6 am until Saturday 22 February 2020 at 12 am or when the work shift that started before 12 am ends
- From Thursday 20 February 2020 at 6 am until Friday 21 February 2020 at 12 am or when the work shift that started before 12 am ends
Work stoppage and overtime bans do not concern emergency work or tasks that would endanger crucial actions for the society or cause significant damage to public interest.
Handling bans begin on Tuesday 18 February 2020 at 6 am and end on Saturday 22 February 2020 at 12 am or when the work shift that started before 12 am ends.
Finnish Commerce Federation considers the situation very unfortunate and hopes that the negotiation parties can continue their negotiations that have proceeded so well as soon as possible.
