Finnish Commerce Federation: Growth in the retail sector has only just begun – new tax increases would threaten the turnaround in employment
The long-awaited growth in the retail sector has begun, and employment in the sector has also started to grow. The Finnish Commerce Federation warns against endangering the positive development with tax increases that cut the purchasing power of households. Consumers and consumer services have already significantly participated in the tax action of the public economy through the VAT increases in 2024.
