PAM ilmoitti yhdessä muiden SAK:n liittojen kanssa uusia poliittisia lakkoja kaupan alalle. Uusimmat lakot kohdistuvat kaupan logistiikkakeskuksiin viikolle 50. PAMin ilmoittamilla toimilla pyritään vaikuttamaan pääministeri Petteri Orpon hallituksen työmarkkinauudistuksiin.
Rakentamisen koko toimiala on kärsinyt heikosta vuodesta ja ensi vuosi on ennusteiden ja erityisesti asunnoille myönnettyjen rakennuslupien valossa todella haasteellinen. Päättäjiltä toivotaan nyt nopeita toimenpiteitä alan elinvoiman varmistamiseksi ja turhien konkurssien välttämiseksi.
Kaupan alan tilastoihin on koottu talous- ja työllisyysnäkymiä havainnollistavia kuvaajia muun muassa kaupan eri toimialojen myynnistä ja liikevaihdosta, työllisyystilanteesta ja työllisten vaihtuvuudesta.
Kaupan liitto on valmistellut vastauksia yleisimmin kysyttyihin kysymyksiin sekä koonnut viimeisimpiä kuluttajakyselyiden tuloksia ja tilastoja joulukaupasta.
Kaupan liitto on kaupan alan valtakunnallinen edunvalvontajärjestö, jonka tehtävänä on edistää suomalaista kauppaa. Kehitämme kaupan yritysten toimintaedellytyksiä ja yhteistyötoimintaa sekä huolehdimme jäsentemme elinkeino- ja työnantajaeduista. Meillä on tärkeä rooli kaupan työmarkkinoilla. Liitto neuvottelee alan työehtosopimukset, ratkaisee työriitoja ja palvelee jäseniä työsuhdeasioissa. Kehitämme kaupan yritysten toimintaedellytyksiä ja yhteistyötoimintaa.
